About Me
Bryan Sims
Bryan Sims is a 28-year-old entrepreneur based in Portland, OR working on a new start-up called the VirtueScore. VirtueScore is focused on improving the credit scoring process to give consumers, especially young adults, a fairer assessment of their credit worthiness based on their merit and not their age.

Bryan is also the Chairman of brass MEDIA Inc which he founded when he was 19, working out of his dorm room and parents’ garage. brass MEDIA Inc, is a socially driven media and technology company dedicated to helping young adults better understand money by providing direct, intelligent, and entertaining information to young adults about the money side of life™
Both Bryan and brass|MEDIA Inc. have received favorable media attention from the likes of Entrepreneur, BusinessWeek and American Public Media. In 2008, brass MEDIA Inc. became one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States, joining Inc. Magazine’s notable Inc. 500 list by growing sales over 1,000% in 4 years. brass|MEDIA Inc. was simultaneously ranked the 6th fastest growing private company in Oregon by the Portland Business Journal. Bryan celebrated his 25th birthday while receiving the Inc. 500 award.
Outside of the entrepreneurial world, Bryan has signed the Giving Pledge, committing to donate half of his life wealth to charity when he dies, and more recently Bryan began volunteering as a high school football coach through which he learned a whole different meaning to the word “leadership.” He is also very lucky to be engaged to an amazing woman who is an emergency room nurse, and whom constantly puts life into perspective.
